Seasoned Firewood
All firewood is dried to 20% or less moisture content prior to being sold.
- Better Burning: Seasoned wood burns more efficiently and produces less smoke than green (unseasoned) wood.
- More Heat: Dry wood generates more heat per unit of weight compared to wet wood.
- Less Creosote Buildup: Seasoned wood is less likely to contribute to creosote buildup in chimneys, which can be a fire hazard.
When buying firewood, it’s important to choose seasoned wood for a better burning experience and to ensure the safety of your fireplace or wood stove.
Cut Length
Wood is cut to approximately 16″, however it’s possible to get a variance of up to 2″ in either direction. In some cases wood can be cut to specific lengths. Let us know your desired length and quantity then we can provide a quote.
